To add a Wix hover box to your Wix website, click on add from the left-hand side panel, box, and then on hover boxes. You can place your cursor over any of the existing hover boxes to view what they look like, and then drag and drop the appropriate one onto your Wix website to start customizing it.

As you can see over here on the left, there will be two options: regular and hover. The regular option is what your hover box will look like when someone lands on your Wix website. The hover option will be what your hover box will look like when someone places their cursor on top of this box.

Let's head back to regular and, just like with any regular Wix design, make changes so that this looks the way you wish. For example, you can click on the image and then on change image to change that image to whatever you wish, such as to this sleek lady over here, and then click on choose image. We can also change the text, such as to "50% off" rather than "25%."

Once you're happy with how your regular hover box looks like, click on hover and make any appropriate changes from its individual toolbar up top. You can choose an effect, such as none, grow, shrink, skew, rotate, or combo.

You can change its design, including the text design, character spacing, and line spacing.

You can change its timing, including the duration, delay, and easing (ease in, ease out, ease in and out, or linear).

You can hide the element and then click to add it back if you wish, and access help.

To view what your Wix's hover box looks like in action, click on play up top. Let's, for example, remove this "new arrivals" by hiding the element and repositioning this "50% off" so that it's further up. Choose an effect: let's choose skew. Change its design by increasing the character spacing, and change the timing by increasing the duration to 1 second. Let's go ahead and play that again.

Additionally, feel free to add any elements to your hover box, either on hover or to the regular design, by clicking on add element from the left-hand side panel and choosing any of the available options.

When in the hover box regular setting as well, we can click to change its design to another box style, and then click on customize design at the bottom to change its fill color and opacity, border corners and shadow, as well as to add an animation to your Wix hover box, including bounce in, glide in, fade in, float in, expand in, spin in, fly in, turn in, arc in, puff in, fold in, flip in, reveal, or slide in.

Once you're done making edits to your Wix hover box, make sure to click on publish on the top right-hand side to make your changes active.
